Annual Company Picnic

1 Jun 2015 News

We like to think of Compass Health employees as a big family, and because we’ve got our minds on families we take time every year to throw a couple big parties  for the people who are important to us. One of these much anticipated parties is the annual Compass Health Picnic. This casual event is full of outdoor summer festivities for every member of the family to enjoy.  Compass employees are encouraged to bring their spouses, partners, kiddos and even pets to join in the fun.

As is the case every year, the picnic will feature a multitude of family friendly activities, some of which may inspire some healthy competition. A face painter will use her brush to transform young and old faces with color and glitter. Leave your shoes at the door and have a jump in the bounce house. Most importantly, bring your appetites! The annual chili cook-off, barbeque, hot dogs and sno cones will provide delicious treats all day long to keep your appetites satisfied. One of the most anticipated features of the picnic, the raffle, will be back in full force. We will be passing out amazing swag to adults and kids alike.

Gather up the family (don’t forget sunscreen!) and bring your party attitudes to contribute to the good time. Compass Health is happy to host the event and take this opportunity to thank its entire dedicated staff for investing talent, time, and compassion into providing quality healthcare. Compass owes every success to each one of you!

Mission View’s Typhoon Haiyan Relief Fundraiser

In the spirit of people, caring for people, the staff at Mission View joined together to raise money for those affected by the devastating typhoon that struck the Philippines last week. For five dollars, charitable contributors enjoyed sizzling hot dogs, juicy burgers and tasty empanadas, among other delectable treats. This lovely grilling-in-the-sun day was organized to not only raise money for those touched by this terrible tragedy, but as a show of solidarity and love for two of our own team members whose families were directly impacted by this devastating disaster. Almost eleven hundred dollars-and counting!-was raised, and efforts are enduring with a clothing drive also taking place at Mission View. All of the money raised will go directly to help the Philippine-based families of the two members of the Mission View team, while the clothing donated will be shipped to the Philippines, free of charge, by a Santa Maria based charity.

Mission View Health Center, proud to continue the Compass Health tradition of people, caring for people, caring for people…
